Das Apartment ist wunderschön gelegen, sehr ruhig und privat hinter alten Steinauern. Für eine Gruppe bis zu 10 Personen perfekt. Ausgiebige Ausstattung an Küchenutensilien und Handtüchern. Sehr viel Platz zum Baden, Lesen, Kochen und zum Runterkommen. Der Gastgeber war sehr zuvorkommend. Wir haben den Aufenthalt zu 100% genossen und werden bestimmt mal wieder kommen.

The villa is great and clean and the 2 kitchens are well equipped. The pool was nice for the kids and the adults. The owner was very friendly and helpful. 2 supermarkets and fresh fruit shop just a few steps away. It is very near to the airport, to Zadar city and the famous Zrmanja River. You can also reach the Krka Nationalpark and the beautiful island of murter within an hour. We can recommend this villa for families or a group of friends. Thanks again

Very beautiful house with a lot of character! The inner courtyard is big and the pool is very nice. There is everything you need for a very good stay! The kitchen and living room on the ground floor are very well equipped, it is possible to grill in a large fireplace.

I can’t recommend this place enough. We could check in early, very friendly family, helpful and great communication. We had the best time with our family, you will find everything you need in this villa. Great warm swimming pool, everything was very clean, they left us food and wine on our arrival. Shop is just 1 min walk and close to Zadar and Novigrad beach is close only 15 min by car. We highly recommend this place and will be definitely back.

Wir sind zu fünft angereist und es hat alles reibungslos geklappt. Unterkunft ist exakt wie im Inserat beschrieben. Der Vermieter ist sehr zuvorkommend und engagiert. Die Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen! Anfahrt vom Flughafen ca 10-15 Minuten und ein kleiner Lebensmittelladen ist auf der anderen Straßenseite vorhanden.

Für uns als fünfköpfige Familie war das Haus in Smilcic mit seinen Steinmauern und großen Bäumen sehr urig und geräumig, weitere Personen hätten noch gut Platz gehabt. Besonders das große und sehr gut ausgestattete Poolhaus wurde zum Mittelpunkt unseres Aufenthalts Ende August. Bei Tagestemperaturen knapp über 30 Grad haben wir den großen und blitzsauberen Pool mit Solar-Gartendusche jeden Tag mehrfach genossen, immer draußen gegessen und regelmäßig den großen Grill angeworfen, Feuerholz inklusive. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war sehr unkompliziert, angenehm und zuvorkommend. Früchte, Schinken und Wein fanden sich zur Begrüßung im Kühlschrank! Einkaufen war sehr einfach, der kleine "Studenac" Supermarkt nebenan ist erstaunlich gut sortiert mit sehr gutem Brot, man spricht Englisch. Auch der Früchte- und Gemüseverkauf an verschiedenen Straßenständen ist kein Problem. Alle sind sehr freundlich, man hat in Smilcic das Gefühl, der einzige Tourist zu sein. Geheimtipp zum Baden: Bukova beach am Karinsko more: nur 10 Minuten entfernt: Sauberes, warmes Wasser, seichter Kiesstrand, kaum was los, kostenloses Parken und angenehme Schattenplätze am Ufer! Aber auch der Sandstrand von Nin ist nur 30 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt, Zadar mit allen Möglichkeiten 20 Minuten, Kanutouren am Zrmanja River 40 Minuten. Also eine gute Lage, da man von Smilcic aus verschiedene Ziele der Umgebung gut erreichen kann. We, a family with two teenagers and a dog spent two wonderful weeks here. The house is beautiful and fully equipped including fly screens and everything you need. A delicious welcome with sausage, cheese and red wine awaited us in the fridge. The family is super nice and always there when you need them. Destinations such as Novigrad (approx. 15 minutes) or Zadar and Biograd (approx. 30 minutes) are easy to reach. We can recommend the Konoba Mika and the Queen in Novigrad with delicious food. The boat rental from Novigrad boats or Luna was great and the trip to the Zrmanja Canyon was absolutely worth seeing.  But the small supermarket is right next door and the fruit and vegetable stand with tomatoes, peppers and melons is about 150 m up the street. Wir, Familie mit zwei Teenagern und Hund haben hier zwei wunderschöne Wochen verbracht. Das Haus ist wunderschön und komplett ausgestattet inkl. Fliegengittern und allem was man so braucht. Im Kühlschrank erwartete und ein leckeres Willkommen mit Wurst, Käse und Rotwein. Die Familie ist super nett und immer da, wenn man sie braucht. Ausflugsziele wie Novigrad ( ca. 15 min) oder Zadar und Biograd ( ca. 30 min) sind gut zu erreichen. Empfehlen können wir das Konoba Mika und the Queen in Novigrad mit leckerem Essen. Der Bootsverleih von Novigrad boats oder Luna war super und der Ausflug in den Zrmanja Canyon absolut sehenswert. Dafür liegt der kleine Supermarkt gleich nebenan und der Obst- und Gemüsestand mit Tomaten, Paprika und Melonen ca. 150 m die Straße rauf. Wonderful, spaceaous house and poolarea with very nice owners. We enjoyed it to the max. Several beaches are nearby, supermarket just on the other side of the street. Perfect holidays!

Very nice hostess, welcomed us straight away with a sausage / cheese plate. If there are any problems, it is always available and answers quickly. The villa itself is incredibly beautiful, rustic style but still renovated. The walls are not too high, so you're beneath yourself without feeling oppressed. Overall, nothing to complain about the house & the hostess.

We came to Villa Oak around 2PM. Even it was before arrival time we were welcomed with big smile by Vesna and her family. The first impressi­on of house? Gorgeous, great, clean, with pool, big kitchen with fireplace :) With one word: awesome! We've received also welcome gift: full fridge of food: chee­s, ham, watermelons, melons, grapes, jui­ce - all delicious :) And also wine - be­st of the best.
We were in 3 famili­es (7 kids) with 2 dogs. Our kids stayed in pool most of the time and didn't want to go out even for meal ;)
Whole house was cle­an and very good equipped, there was ever­ything you need for cooking and relaxing.
Contact with Vesna and Toni was great, they are great people with big hearts.
If we could score the stay we would give 11 out of 10 :)

It all went very smoothly especially with the uncertainties caused by Covid 19. We had a great holiday!!!!!

We just spent 14 days with our family at this lovely place. So much needed rest with the beauty of the house, pool, fireplace etc. Everything we could possibly think of was there. Towels and beddings were changed during our stay, beaches, stores and Zadar is within a 25 minute drive. The place has every basics you can think of. We will definitely be back. Thank you for our lovely stay.

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Gastgeber waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Objekt ist stilvoll und passend eingerichtet.... Leider etwas im Inland, dafür aber für einen sehr guten Preis.

Wir sind als sechs Freunde nach Kroatien verreist. Empfangen wurden wir von Vesna und ihrem Mann, die beide außerordentlich gastfreundlich sind und uns mit Wein, Brot, Käse und Schinken empfangen haben. Der Pool war sehr sauber und auch rund um dem Pool war der Garten sehr gepflegt. Ein Auto ist sehr zu empfehlen. Parkmöglichkeiten sind vorhanden. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und hat diesen Urlaub einfach perfekt gemacht.

Our stay at this place was simply perfect. We were 10 people and the house impressed us. We stay for a week and didn't even have to leave the place every day. Some days we would just sit at the pool, read a book and enjoy our holiday. Thank you so much for this great week in Zadar :-) we will definitely come back!

We were staying at Vesna's and Mladen's house for 2 weeks in the july 2019 and it was the perfect surrounding for an active vacation. We came there with 3 couples and found a house in the typical rustic / country-style of croatia. Everything was very clean, modern and was working fine. The pool was clean, the lights worked fine. All airconditioners worked. The kitchen was equipped very well, for us as we prefer to cook ourselves. The houses location is perfect for visiters who want to see different sites in the area of zadar or towards the country side. For every kind of activity the driving time is no longer than 20 to 30 minutes depending on your activity. For smaller shopping there is are 2 groceries directly around the corner of the house. You get fresh bread, fruits or drinks there. For bigger shopping you drive 20 minutes to Zadar and there are all shopping possibilitys. We felt like home in this house and relaxed ourselves the moment we got there. The actual highlight of our stay was the visit of Mladen and his daughter. The prepared a traditional Peka for us and we had a nice evening together. We are very interested in dalmatian tradtitional cooking and they were more than nice hosts. We all decided to comeback to Smilcic one day. Then perhaps as family. The house provides even more space. Thank you for the wonderful time!

Vesna und Mladen betreuen dieses Objekt und sie empfingen uns trotz später Ankunft (10 Uhr Abends) freundlich und persönlich. Sie zeigten uns die ganze Unterkunft die vor allem im Aussenbereich bei Nacht wunderschön beleuchtet ist. Im Kühlschrank waren einige Esswaren und Getränke für uns bereitgestellt (Wasser, Wein, Gemüse, Früchte, Schinken, Käse, Brot). Die Fotos auf dieser Plattform stimmen mit der Wirklichkeit überein. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich das Poolhaus mit Küche, Essbereich und Grillofen. Zudem ein Badezimmer mit Dusche und Waschmaschine  und angrenzendem Schlafzimmer. Alle Schlafzimmer verfügen über genügend Stauraum, die Wohn- und Schlafräume sind mit Klimaanlagen ausgestattet. Auch ein Föhn ist vorhanden. Die Unterkunft in Smilcic ist etwas in Landesinneren gelegen. In Fussdistanz sind zwei kleine Supermärkte, ein Coffeeshop und Früchtestände zu erreichen. Für grössere Einkäufe empfiehlt es sich nach Zadar (ca 15-20 min) zu fahren. Ein Auto ist an diesem Ort essentiell. Wir fanden die Lage perfekt für unsere Ausflüge zum Nationalpark Krka, den Plitvicer Seen, Zadar und zu diversen Stränden. Allerdings war Vesna immer per Handy zu erreichen (SMS oder Anruf) und auch die WLAN Verbindung funktionierte gut. Alles in allem würden wir diese Unterkunft jederzeit sofort wieder buchen und können sie jedem empfehlen, der das Meer nicht in Gehdistanz vor sich haben muss.

It was great to stay here, you can enjoy easily two, three days at home. Zadar is close and the two big national parks are reachable within 1,5 hours.

6 of us stayed at this amazing villa. The host was so nice and accommodating. When we arrived they have pre- prepared fruits and nibbles for us to have. The villa was so pretty and The location was really easy to get to from the airport. Zadar town is only 20min drive away. This was our first time in Zadar and the host had the best recommendations for dinner. Thanks to Vesna and Tomislav our stay was perfect.

What a lovely villa, clean, tidy, everything we needed, superb hosts who went above and beyond. There is not much to do in the village, however we had a hire car and found it to be a perfect base for exploring Croatia. Only two minor things to be aware of, the church bells chime (multiple times) before 6am every morning, and if you have very young children, the villa living accomodation is up a stone staircase, however in my opinion these are minor things considering the villa and pool, and large fire place BBQ. Would highly recommend a stay here. We found places to visit no more than 30 minutes drive away (this was our time limit due to small children), we visited Krka National park which is a must!
