We couldn’t have asked for a better stay at Villa Mara. We spent six nights here with family, and it was simply stunning - beautiful, relaxing, and thoughtfully designed in every detail. The villa itself is gorgeous and incredibly comfortable, tucked away in a charming hillside village just an 8 minute drive from town. From the luxurious pool and stylish outdoor spaces to the well-equipped, modern kitchen and exceptionally comfortable beds, everything about the home feels both elegant and welcoming. Each room has its own air-conditioning unit, allowing everyone to set their ideal sleeping temperature - an added touch of comfort we really appreciated. Our host, Linda, was absolutely wonderful. She greeted us with genuine warmth and had stocked the fridge with fresh food and delicious local wine - kindness beyond our expectations. Her communication was excellent throughout our stay, and she provided plenty of great local recommendations for restaurants and sights. We loved every moment of our time at Villa Mara and can’t wait to return someday!

Unser Aufenthalt in der Casa Rustica war ganz wunderbar. Wir waren als fünfköpfige Familie dort und haben alles vorgefunden, was es braucht, um eine herrliche Woche auf Korçula zu verbringen. Das Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen und die Gastgeberin hat uns sehr viele gute Tipps für schöne Buchten, Restaurant etc. gegeben. Man kann auch prima den Tag daheim verbringen. Der Pool ist herrlich erfrischend und man hat genügend Platz sich auf der Terrasse zu entspannen. Wir können das Haus jedem wärmstens empfehlen.

The house was wonderful - stylish and well thought out and also really homely. We loved the outside area for meals and chilling out and the owners had thought of everything to make it a really comfortable stay. Our 3 children, 15, 13 and 11 thought it was awesome too and they can be difficult to please ????. Great location in a lovely village with a small supermarket a short walk away. Tomislav gave us great recommendations for local restaurants, beaches and islands to visit. We had a really amazing holiday.

A wonderful week spent Korcula. An amazing house away from the busy town, a real hideaway in the hills but only 5mins to Korcula town, beaches and more. Would certainly return. Linda was a great host and could not have been more welcoming or helpful during our stay.

A really lovely holiday house. It has been very recently refurbished and is immaculate; finished to a beautiful standard, so it feels more like a boutique hotel rather than someone's home. Lindy, the owner, was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. She offered great recommendations for our journey to and from the airport as well as around the area itself. A lovely place to unwind and great base from which to explore Korcula.

Superb! We wanted a luxury villa for what might be our final family holiday before our three student-age children start leaving home. Villa Mara exceeded all our expectations - we were all delighted by the house and the fact that Linda (the owner) seemed to have thought of everything. It was immaculately clean, spacious, comfortable, with high quality fittings and furniture to make our stay effortless and relaxing. Linda welcomed us and then left us to get on with our holiday - later we found she had left a generous amount of supplies for us to enjoy. Wonderfully wide and comfortable beds meant we all slept really well. The house was in a working village, with supermarket and a good rustic grill-restaurant a couple of minutes away. We loved drinking the local Tasovac wine (which is delicious) from the terrace with the view of the vegetable gardens and church every evening, and spent days lounging about the pool. We also walked to the beach resort La Banya (downhill 40minutes) but took taxis for all other journeys. A taxi for 5 people cost 15Euro into Korcula Town. This villa was outside our normal budget but I am so glad we spent the money. I cannot recommend Villa Mara enough. We have been back home for nearly two weeks now and and I will still be dreaming about it for a lot longer.

The villa is absolutely gorgeous: really beautifully decorated, spacious and well-appointed with pretty much every amenity you could think of. We really liked the location as it's very peaceful, with walkable supermarket and restaurants, but so easy to drive or get a taxi to Korcula Town or elsewhere (we hired a car). Linda was a very helpful host and available for any questions. A very special place!

The villa was stunning! It had everything you needed, very beautifully finished in the gorgeous town of Zrnovo. It was still close enough that we could walk into the old town. Also, Linda was an incredible owner and very helpful with any and every question we had! We will 100% rebook this place if next time we’re in korcula.

Beautiful villa, lovely bedrooms, comfy beds, well equipped bathrooms and great air conditioning throughout. Fantastic outside dining space with BBQ and sink, brilliant pool. Great local restaurants, a cafe and a supermarket within 3 minute walk Would highly recommend and hope to return.

We had a fantastic time at Villa Mara - it is a beautiful house with excellent facilities and the photos don’t do it justice. The hosts went out of their way to make us feel at home, with lots of help and recommendations. It is beautifully decorated inside and outside, and the pool is an added bonus. The villa is in a little village in the hills above Korcula town, and hence away from the hustle and bustle, and quiet and peaceful as a result. We didn’t have transport but taxis are easy to come by and inexpensive. There is a small supermarket and an excellent restaurant that are each just a 1 minute walk away.

We had a great holiday, villa is as described, even more beautiful in real life than on pictures. It offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday, view from the pool area and terrace are amazing. Place is charming, traditional Dalmatian, you can explore the island, everything is near, great sand beaches or pebble beach everyone can find something. Would highly recommend

Our experience was amazing! The property exceeded our expectations and looked even better in person, especially the pool. Being the first guests to stay at the house, we received a warm welcome with a thoughtful gift package. It was a wonderful surprise! Linda and Stjepko did everything to ensure our comfort. Highly recommended! We loved it and we are coming back as soon as possible!!!
