Welcome to the **ZadarVillas Off-Grid Private Island Retreat**, located in a unique location - on the private, uninhabited island of Burnja Školj, in the middle of the Telašćica Nature Park. This exclusive holiday home offers the perfect retreat for those looking for peace, contact with nature and a luxurious holiday away from everyday life.

The house is located just a few meters from the sea, surrounded by pine forest, olive groves and absolute peace. From the terrace you look towards the yachts that quietly pass by, the SUP enthusiasts in the distance and the fishing boats that bring the local story of Dalmatia to life. This place is an ideal starting point for exploring the Telašćica Nature Park, the Kornati National Park, Lake Mir and the entire Dugi Otok.

Access to the island is only possible by sea, which ensures complete privacy. We organize the arrival according to your wishes. If you come by car, the ferry takes you from Zadar (Gaženica port) to Brbinj on Dugi otok, where we welcome you and take you to Dugo Polje port. You park your vehicle there (free of charge) and in just five minutes you can reach our island by boat. If you are coming by plane or catamaran, we will meet you in Zaglav and also transport you to the house. Guests arriving with their own boat can use our private dock, provided that the vessel is up to 6 meters long and without a keel.

Upon arrival, we welcome you personally, help you with your luggage and introduce you to the rules of using the house, including basic training for safe boat handling if you have rented one.

The house is completely *off-grid* – relying exclusively on its own solar system and ecological water system. This means that there is no commercial electricity or city water, so please use all resources carefully and responsibly. Electricity comes from solar panels and batteries, so its use is carefully distributed. Fridge, freezer, Wi-Fi, lighting and device charging are available without restrictions. However, the TV, air conditioning and fans can be used for certain times during the day, according to the recommended schedule you will receive on arrival. Some devices, such as hair dryers, toasters, electric kettles, irons and coffee makers, are not allowed as they can overload the system.

The water we use comes from collected rainwater and is stored in an underground tank. It is suitable for showering, cooking, washing vegetables and dishes, but it is not potable. Please use water sparingly - the recommended shower duration is up to three minutes, and brush your teeth with a glass of water. You need to bring drinking water with you (bottled), or we can provide it for you with prior notice.

The house is modernly equipped and fully fits into the natural environment. There are two air-conditioned bedrooms with a view of the sea and olive groves, a fully equipped kitchen, a glazed dining room with a folding sofa, a terrace for dining with the sunset, a hammock among the trees and a barbecue under the starry sky. Four deckchairs, board games, books in several languages ​​and a private concrete beach with direct access to the sea and a private dock are also available to guests.

For an active vacation, equipment for diving with a mask (*snorkeling*), SUP board, possibility of fishing (with a permit that can be purchased in the Telašćica Nature Park) and boat rental (4.8 m with motor) are available, with the condition of having a valid boat management license.

Numerous additional services are also available to guests by arrangement: delivery of local groceries, organization of trips to Kornati and Telašćica, rental of kayaks, bicycles and cars, private speedboat transfer from Zadar, as well as special evenings with dinner, candles and sunset. If desired, we also offer house cleaning during your stay.

Please follow the basic rules during your stay: use energy and water sparingly, do not leave trash in nature, do not use prohibited electrical devices, and do not leave lights on or water open unnecessarily. Our goal is to preserve the natural harmony of this beautiful island and provide you and all future guests with an unforgettable vacation experience.
