It's already the middle of July, the beaches are full, the city is busy, everything is filled with events and of course you too want to be a part of this. Today we will present you several major happenings that await you in the upcoming days in Zadar, so we are sure that you will find something that suits you.

 

For all lovers of classical music, Musical Evenings of St. Donatus are held every year in church of St. Donatus from July 6th to August 10th. It is the oldest and most prestigious art event in Zadar, which has been held since 1961. Thanks to the performances of numerous prominent musical artists from Croatia, Europe and the world, the Zadar festival enjoys a high reputation in the world and is one of the most important promoters of Croatian culture.

 

Pablo Picasso exhibition, The Dukes Palace in Zadar, summer events, www.zadarvillas.com

 

For all art lovers, the Zadar National Museum presents the exhibition Pablo Picasso: A New Beginning. You can view the exhibition in the hall of the Duke's Palace from June 10th to October 5th.

The lake collection is one of the largest collections of original Picasso ceramics in Europe
- it consists of more than 80 pieces of Picasso ceramics and 150 original graphics and posters related to the theme of Picasso's ceramic works from Vallauris
- the exhibition will feature works in ceramics such as Picasso's motifs Jacqueline, the famous homage Vallauris, mythical fauna, fish, goats...

For all party lovers Zadar Sunset Festival announces the second edition from July 30th to August 3rd. Zadar Sunset Festival returns this summer with the second edition which will take place over 4 days across multiple venues with Monument to the Sun as the main event venue, including official afterparties, boat sessions and more this summer. Visitors will enjoy the performances of the mega-popular Dennis Cruz, Archie Hamilton and Pawsa, the attractive Dutch Cheline Manuhutu, and the British Eli Brown. Local performers this year are led by Aldo Morro from Zadar, Alvize, Groove Masters, Mony, Pablo Panda and Yakka.
