The program will last for 9 hours and the spectators will have the opportunity to enjoy the sky spectacle above some of the most amazing sights and attractions. The teams will be flying over the beautiful Zadar Channel with the historic Zadar peninsula on one side and the islands on the other. The viewing will be available from the shores or the vessels navigating in the channel.  

Blue Rally Europe

From July 08 to 29, 2021, the 1st edition of the Blue Rally Europe will take place, 100 participants will be at the start with Renault Raid 4L, with the program: 7,000 kilometers to cover across Europe. Members of all age groups will spend 22 extraordinary days traveling and hanging out. At the start of the adventure you will receive a fully mapped logbook on which all routes and sites are widely documented. This will allow you to follow the route independently. Lush nature, mountains, seaside, traditions, love of the land and generosity will guide your journey. The pace of progression has been carefully studied so that each day brings you its share of discoveries and wonders.

During the entire Raid 4L, the participants of the Blue Rally Europe will have to carry out solidarity actions, in order to meet the needs of the children but also to participate in the protection of the planet. The roads meet together in Zadar on July 23-24 2021. 

Hideout Festival – Novalja, Pag – 20-24 June 2021

The 10th Hideout Festival will take place in its usual location – Zrce Beach in Novalja, on the island of Pag – from 20th to 24th June 2021! Set on what’s considered to be THE party island of Pag in Croatia, Hideout made its debut in 2011. 2021 will see the tenth edition of the festival take place, and much of the line-up has already been announced. If you head down to Hideout this summer, you’ll be in for a treat. The first announcement of acts on the bill includes names such as Andy C, Camelphat, Fisher, Danny Howard, Gorgon City, Hybrid Minds and Jamie Jones. Many more acts are still to be announced.

As in previous years, the event is to be held at a few famous venues by Zrce Beach in Novalja on the island of Pag – Papaya, Aquarius, Kalypso, Euphoria and Noa clubs. If you’re making your own way from Zadar airport, you can take a transfer bus to the main bus terminal in Zadar (you’ll see buses waiting outside the terminal building), which is about a 20-minute journey. From here you can take an additional bus direct to Novalja; the island is in fact connected to the mainland by bridge. Journey time from Zadar to Novalja is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.

INmusic Festival – Zagreb – 21-23 June 2021

For this festival you will have to drive to Zagreb but in good company for even better fun it's not a problem to cross a few miles. In contrast to the largely dance- and club-based festivals that take place on the Croatian coast each summer, this one is a great alternative – especially with its eclectic range of big name artists that appear. As Croatia’s largest open-air festival and with a pretty and fun lakeside location on the edge of Zagreb, it’s also a highly accessible event and revellers can take advantage of the numerous accommodation options in the city. Zagreb is also very easy to reach; there are many flights from the UK and Europe (and even a little further afield) to Croatia’s capital, as well as other transport options – it’s hardly surprising that this event brings in the crowds from all over Europe. Artists include wonderful headliners The Killers, plus Beck, The Lumineers, Deftones, Belle & Sebastian, White Lies and Gogol Bordello.

Ultra Europe – Split – 9-11 July 2021

Part of the famous Ultra brand that hosts events all over the world, Ultra Europe first burst onto the Croatian festival scene several years ago with some massive club names appearing on the bill. In the last few years, the festival has seen thousands and thousands of party-goers from all over the world descend on Split and go party mad over the three days the event takes place. Ultra Europe returns to Split for its eighth edition in 2021, with plenty of exciting events planned.

Ultra Europe evolved from the Ultra Music Festival in Miami that’s played host to some of the biggest names on the dance music scene over several decades. The festival takes place in Park Mladezi, the second-largest stadium in Split. (Ultra Europe was previously held at the Poljud Stadium, famously the home of football club Hajduk Split.) Split is about an hour, an hour and a half away from Zadar, so be sure not to miss this spectacle.

23. BIOGRAD BOAT SHOW 20. - 24.10.2021.

The 22nd Biograd Boat Show, organized and hosted by Ilirija d.d., opened its doors under sunny skies with over 250 registered exhibitors and only slightly fewer vessels that 2019’s record show despite the challenging environment. Held at Ilirija’s Four Anchor, Marina Kornati, Croatia’s third largest marina, it spans both the north and west marines joined together with a pontoon bridge, and displays vessels ranging from 2- 20 m. The strategy of extending the show over 5 days worked very well, as the new Wednesday opening day was well attended, while Thursday was the most attended Thursday in the show’s History.

Through close cooperation with the Zadar County Civil Headquarters and the Public Health Department, Ilirija met all of the public safety criteria for a safe show, and added additional measures such as free masks for all participants, as well as making Covid 19 testing available to visitors. The show was the third and last major boat show to be held in Europe in the Second half of 2020, and showed remarkable resilience from both exhibitors and visitors, maintaining its status as Central Europe’s largest in-water show, and showcases the importance and strength of the Croatian nautical sector.
